The south side of chicago always holds a bad impression on a lot of chicagoans and tourists visiting. however, there are never any efforts to explore the diverse community that comes form these “bad neighborhoods.”

the south side of chicago holds a special place in my life. not only was I born and raised in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood, i’ve had the pleasure of meeting some great people that make this side of chicago home.

although these shots are mainly from the southwest side, I hope to expand this project farther down.
